Chemical Transfer Pump

Phase transfer catalyst - A phase transfer catalyst or PTC in chemistry is a type of chemical compound, often a quaternary ammonium salt, which facilitates the migration of a particular chemical component in one phase into a other phase in a heterogeneous system. The chemical component is soluble in one phase but insoluble in the other unless the phase transfer catalyst is present.

Phase change heat pump - A phase change heat pump employs a liquid with a low boiling point to transfer heat from cooler space to a warmer space; generally in a refrigeration application. It is the most common heat pump used in domestic refrigerators, and heat pumps are also used in air conditioning systems to transfer heat from the outside of a building to the inside or vice versa depending upon a valve position.

Solubility pump - In oceanic biogeochemistry, the solubility pump is a physico-chemical process that transports carbon (as dissolved inorganic carbon) from the ocean's surface to its interior.

Inter valence charge transfer - In spectrometry, the inter valence charge transfer (IVCT) band is a characteristic band for organic metal complexes that show valence tautomerization. Valence tautomers are a set of compounds that have almost the same chemical structure but different electronic structures.

Process Analyzer Sample Conditioning Systems by Robert E. Sherman,

Process Analyzer Sample Conditioning Systems by Robert E. Sherman,
"Sampling systems are one part chemistry, one part engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, civil, chemical transfer pump and maybe even software). No one person possesses all of the knowledge required. Bob (Sherman) comes as close as anyone." John A. Crandall, V.P. Sales Americas, ABB Process Analytics This resource provides both novice chemical transfer pump and experienced technologist with the technical background necessary to choose sample conditioning system components that will allow the process analyzer system to function reliably with minimal maintenance. The conditioned process sample presented to the process analyzer should be of similar quality to the calibration material used to zero chemical transfer pump and span the analyzer. Filling a long-standing void in the process field, this book addresses the system concept of Process Analyzer Sample-Conditioning Technology in light of the critical importance of delivering a representative sample of the process stream to the process analyzer. Offering detailed descriptions of the equipment necessary to prepare process samples, chemical transfer pump and listings of two or more vendors (when available) for equipment reviewed, Process Analyzer Sample-Conditioning System Technology discusses: The importance of a "truly representative sample" Sample probes, transfer lines, coolers, chemical transfer pump and pumps Sample transfer flow calculations for sizing of lines chemical transfer pump and system components Particulate filters, gas-liquid chemical transfer pump and liquid-liquid separation devices Sample pressure measurement chemical transfer pump and control Enclosures chemical transfer pump and walk-in shelters, their electrical hazard ratings chemical transfer pump and climate control systems With extensive system chemical transfer pump and component examplesincluding what worked chemical transfer pump and what didntProcess Analyzer Sample-Conditioning System Technology givesthe new technologist a basic source of design parameters chemical transfer pump and performance-proven components as well as providing the experienced professional with a valuable reference resource to complement his or her experience.
