List of gothic metal and gothic-doom metal bands - ==A==
Blackened death metal - Blackened death metal (also called death/black metal) is a fusion genre of extreme metal utilising elements of death metal and black metal with bands usually hailing from Europe. Many of the bands start out as full on black metal outfits and end up adopting death metal influences and fusing the two together or becoming modern death metal artists.
Storm Metal - Storm Metal is a spin off battle metal, death metal, and doom metal. Combining the lyrical imagery of battle metal, the apocalyptic depressing atmosphere of doom metal, and the blasting abrasion of death metal to create the feeling as if you are standing inside an unrelenting, furious storm.
Heavy metal music/temp - Heavy metal is a form of music characterised by aggressive, driving rhythms and highly amplified distorted guitars, generally with grandiose lyrics and virtuosic instrumentation. It should be noted that while "Heavy Metal" and "Metal" are often used interchangeably to refer to the entire genre, this page deals with the sub-genre of Metal music (otherwise known as Classic Metal or Traditional Metal) that includes bands like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest.
